  • Welcome to Libero Jewelers!

    Growing up in New Haven's historic Wooster Square, Michael Libero Sr. developed an appreciation and love, not only for the Elm City, but for jewelry as well. That is why it only seems fitting that he started running his jewelry business out of a brownstone on Academy Street for nearly two decades.

    In 2001, he relocated to a storefront in North Haven, CT with his wife, Patty, in hopes of growing both his inventory and cliental. Not long after, the family business was further expanded as two of his three children, Michael Jr., and Ashley attended GIA and became certified Graduate Diamond Graders.

    With the integration of their fresh, innovative ideas, they collaboratively envisioned bringing Libero Jewelers to the next level to keep up with the constantly evolving jewelry industry. So in 2006 the store was double-sized with custom pear-wood showcases, a 175-gallon salt-water reef fish tank, and a private diamond center, allowing for a welcoming and unique shopping experience.

    Gradually a variety of prestigious jewelry lines were introduced, such as Judith Ripka and Pandora, to provide customers with both traditional, timeless merchandise as well as trendy pieces. The extensive inventory leaves little to be desired. Libero Jewelers is a business founded on providing a friendly, professional atmosphere where everyone feels like family.

    Our Staff


    Michael Libero Sr., the founder and owner of Libero Jewelers, is a welcoming face to both loyal long-time customers and first-time shoppers walking through the doors.

    He runs the behind-the-scenes operations to keep the store running smoothly.

    With his knowledge and thirty-years of experience, he has taught his children and employees the ins and outs of running a successful business.



    Patty Libero, co-owner of Libero Jewelers, has gained a wealth of experience in her 11 years, working alongside her husband.

    Her fashionable style has reflected in the introduction of chic and modern jewelry designs.

    She has a keen eye for picking out the latest fashion trends and always knows just what your loved one will want.



    Michael Libero Jr., a second generation passionate jeweler, has always emulated his father.

    His vast knowledge of watches, diamonds, and antiques makes him a master of his trade. He is a GIA certified Graduate Diamond Grader, with over 10 years of experience.

    His laid-back style and relatable nature, make everyone he services come in as a customer and leave as a friend.



    Ashley Libero, also a GIA Graduate Diamond Grader and trained CADCAM designer, is at the forefront of customer service.

    She handles two aspects of the business, including heading the advertisement campaign and wholesale merchandise buying.

    She pays special attention to detail and provides each and every customer with the best shopping experience possible.



    John Savinelli, expert jewelry repairman and goldsmith, is an integral part of Libero Jeweler's success.

    Having owned his own successful jewelry store, John provides insight into all aspects of jewelry design and repair.

    His precision and perfected goldsmith skills are an indispensable asset to the business. With him on the team, we can offer on-site jewelry work.



    Diane Diana became part of the team in 2001 and has developed an appreciation for the jewelry business.

    She can usually be found in the Pandora section, using her creativity to help customers design a bracelet of their dreams.

    With her warm, welcoming personality, she goes above and beyond to meet a customer's every need.



    Mary Eastman is a newcomer to the Libero family, but in the short time that she's been on-board she has acquired a strong knowledge of the business.

    Her dedicated work ethic and familiarity of the merchandise makes her an asset to the sales floor.
